RPM Discs Piwakawaka (Magma)

The RPM Discs Piwakawaka in Magma plastic is a neutral-flying midrange that glides effortlessly and holds any line with precision. Named after New Zealand’s energetic fantail bird, the Piwakawaka is designed for smooth, accurate throws that stay true to your release angle. The Magma blend offers a grippy, tacky feel with a touch of flexibility, providing superb control and touch for both backhand and forehand shots.

Flight & Feel – 5 / 5 / -1 / 0

The Piwakawaka is incredibly straight-flying with minimal fade and excellent glide. Thrown flat, it holds a laser-straight path; on anhyzer, it turns gracefully and stays turned, while on hyzer it maintains its angle to the ground. Its comfortable, rounded rim and slightly domey profile make it easy to grip and release smoothly, ideal for players who value touch and finesse in their midrange game.
